Human
Relations Commission
. . . making great strides . . .
An LA Community Policing progress report for activities in April,
2003
The Human
Relations Commission, and it's staff led by Rabbi Allen Freehling,
have made significant strides recently, helping people get along,
combatting hate, and promoting Los Angeles as the world class City
it can be.
There are seven public Anti-Hate Forums are being conducted across
the City in May alone! One is sure to be near you.

Hate Crimes and Hate Language"
For details of what the
Commission Staff's been up to recently check out Rabbi
Freeling's memorandum to the Mayor:
Summary
of Activities During The Month of April
Understaffed and overworked,
the staff of this amazing City Commission continues to perform well
above and beyond the call of duty.
As an example we'll share
with you a report prepared by Emily Williams, who recently
graduated from LAPD's West Point Leadership Academy.
