Invites You To Attend A Public Forum Near You

"Confronting Hate Crimes and Hate Language"

Mayor James K. Hahn (or his representative) is expected to give brief opening and closing remarks.

All seven events will feature testimony from individuals from the Sikh, Muslim, Jewish and African-American communities who have been targets of hate crimes and language.

Each will have a Panel Discussion involving spokespersons from the National Conference on Community and Justice, Anti-Defamation League, Muslim Public Affairs Council, Southern Christian Leadership Council and the Los Angeles Police Department regarding ways to eliminate hate crimes and language from our city.

Finally there will be a Question and Answer Session and Closing Remarks by Mayor James K. Hahn (or his representative).
