                Jan. 28, 2011 - ICE arrests 5 criminal sex offenders in the Rio Grande Valley 
                
                 U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers conducted an operation to locate and arrest at-large criminal aliens with sex offense convictions. Five criminal sex offenders were arrested as a result of the operation. Full Story  
                Jan. 27, 2011 - ICE most wanted fugitive arrested at JFK on human trafficking charges  
                This week, ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents placed Veniamin Gonikman under arrest at JFK Airport in New York. Gonikman has been wanted since 2005 for smuggling Eastern European women to the United States. The women were forced to work as exotic dancers without compensation, making them modern day slaves.                 Jan. 27, 2011 - ICE seizes more than $40,000 worth of fake NFL apparel at Honolulu swap meets  
                With the Pro Bowl kickoff fast approaching, ICE HSI agents conducted an operation targeting vendors of counterfeit goods at two popular Honolulu-area swap meets. Agents seized more than 135 items of counterfeit NFL apparel valued at nearly $41,000. Full Story  
                Jan. 26, 2011 - 'BEST' transfers suspected drug smuggler to Mexican authorities  
                Juan Manuel Rodriguez-Ramirez, a Mexican national, allegedly attempted to smuggle 244 pounds of marijuana into the United States. ICE HSI agents assigned to the Border Enforcement Security Taskforce (BEST) turned Rodriguez-Ramirez over to the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Mexico on Monday. Full Story  
                Jan. 26, 2011 - First Massachusetts business partners with ICE, joins "IMAGE" program  
                Aetna Fire Alarm Service Company, Inc. became the first Massachusetts-based company to become an IMAGE (ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers) member. IMAGE is a voluntary program that allows private businesses to partner with ICE to strengthen hiring practices and combat unlawful employment of illegal aliens. Full Story

                ICE returns to French government stolen Degas painting missing for 37 years

  In a ceremony held at the French ambassador's residence in Washington, D.C., on January 21, 2011, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) returned to the French government a rare painting by master impressionist Edgar Degas that had been stolen and lost to the world for nearly 40 years.                 ICE & Tyson Foods partner in an effort to protect the nation's lawful workforce

"Doing What's Right!" is more than a slogan for Tyson Foods, Inc., the newest member of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers (IMAGE). It's a company program, a description of their business culture and a principle spelled out in their company code of conduct. Tyson, which employs almost 100,000 people at locations throughout the United States, is the first major food company to become a full member of ICE's IMAGE program.
