GAC Chemical Corp., of Searsport, Maine, became the latest employer to be certified with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) employment compliance program, "ICE Mutual Agreement between Government and Employers."

Sept. 20, 2012 — ICE deports Polish fugitive wanted for manslaughter

ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations ( ERO ) officers deported and turned over to Polish law enforcement officials a Polish national who is wanted in his home country for manslaughter. He also has an extensive criminal history in the United States.

Sept 19, 2012 — HSI special agents at JFK International Airport work 'To Catch a Smuggler'

In a new TV series, National Geographic Television follows ICE's Homeland Security Investigations ' ( HSI ) JFK Narcotics Smuggling Unit as they investigate cases involving seized drugs or apprehend individuals attempting to smuggle contraband into the United States. The series debuts Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Sept. 19, 2012 — Human trafficker sentenced to 30 years in prison

Tuesday, Eric Bell and co-conspirator Neang Prom were sentence to 30 years and three years in federal prison, respectively, on sex trafficking charges. This sentencing resulted from a nearly two-year investigation by ICE's HSI, the FBI and the Clearwater Human Trafficking Task Force.

Sept. 18, 2012 — ICE arrests local leader of Latin Kings gang

In southeast central Texas, fugitive operations officers with ICE's ERO arrested the Latin King gang's second-in-command. He has been removed twice from the United States and has convictions for carrying an unlicensed concealed weapon and assault causing bodily harm.
