DONE NEWS

Community Budget Day: Surveying Your Community's Budget Priorities
All budget surveys for the City's 2009-2010 fiscal year are due by January of 2009.  At that time, we hope to have a minimum of 3000 budget survey submissions from Neighborhood Council members, CBO leaders, and stakeholders throughout Los Angeles.  As you hold regional and local meetings, and as you provide access to the survey through your website and communications to your stakeholders, please remember that the ideal is to cast as broad a net as possible so that all the voices of our community can be heard.  The results of the survey will be presented at a regional budget meeting open to the public on January 31, 2009 at City Hall.  You can access the budget survey at www.lacityneighborhoods.com or by clicking here.

For more information or if you need assistance, please contact your Project Coordinator at (213) 485-1360. As always, it's your leadership and your interest in the budget process that will take us over the top to reach the budget survey goals!
