Update on the Neighborhood Council Inventory Report
We have been asked by City Council's Education and Neighborhoods Committee to collect inventory information from all Neighborhood Councils that use City funds to purchase certain types of equipment and supplies. In early April 2009, we sent packets containing instructions, tags, and a list of possible inventory items to each Neighborhood Council, in order to complete the exercise. The date for Neighborhood Councils to return the required form to us was May 8, 2009.
As of Monday, June 8, 2009, 12 Neighborhood Councils have assisted us with this important and necessary task, and your time and effort is greatly appreciated.  The Neighborhood Councils who have submitted the requested inventory information are:
            Arleta
              Bel Air - Beverly Crest
              Granada Hills North
              Greater Wilshire
              Hollywood Hills West
              Lake Balboa
              Mar Vista
              Mid City West
              Olympic Park
              Palms
              Park Mesa Heights
            Valley Village
Because the Education and Neighborhoods Committee will be asking us for a status report on this project in the near future, it is requested that the 77 Neighborhood Councils who have not yet completed this exercise, provide a response as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Vitkievicz at Mike.Vitkievicz@lacity.org or (213) 485-1822.
