Response to Burglar Alarms - Letter to the Mayor

Dear Mayor Hahn,

I oppose the adoption of the policy of non-response to burglar alarms by the Los Angeles Police Commission.

It will have a very negative impact on our public safety. It will alert the criminals that their opportunity to successfully burglarize is at an all time high.

The citizens of Los Angeles should be the recipients of protection from our police personnel.

If you wish to increase the false alarm penalization, press ahead; but please, don't take away our sense of security.
