Board of Police Commissioners - letter to C-PAB members

LOS ANGELES POLICE COMMISSION

Dear Community Police Advisory Board Member:

Since the inception of Community Police Advisory Boards (C-PAB) over ten years ago, C-PAB members have worked diligently to improve the quality of life within the streets, blocks, neighborhoods and Areas of Los Angeles. Your activism and ability to bring localized concerns to Area Commanders' attention and in organizing you communities and neighborhoods, empowering them into proactive community-policing entities continues to make a difference in the every day lives of Angelenos.

As C-PAB members, your leadership within your communities is greatly appreciated and lauded. The partnership with your Police Department must always be an open relationship to communicate ideas, solve problems and actively work together in building and making our communities a better place to live and work.

In closing, I would like to express my support for you selfless efforts and commend you on your activism, volunteerism and service to the City of Los Angeles and our Police Department.
