Ronald
Stone has more than a decade of legal, government affairs and political
experience. Mr. Stone is the owner of Strategic Government Affairs,
a Los Angeles-based government affairs consulting company where
he advises Fortune 500 companies and small businesses alike.
Prior to founding Strategic Government Affairs, Mr. Stone served
as Vice President for West Coast Sales and Government Relations
for Netgov.com - a provider of E-Government solutions to local governments.
Mr. Stone also served as counsel to the Los Angeles law firm Arter
& Hadden, LLP, and as Manager of Government Affairs at Mattel, Inc.,
the world's largest toy manufacturer.
Mr. Stone spent nearly five years as a legislative assistant to
U.S. Rep. Jane Harman (D-Venice) - both in the Congresswoman's Washington,
D.C. and Los Angeles offices. While on Rep. Harman's staff, Mr.
Stone was responsible for many issue areas including the environment,
energy, transportation, and science and technology policy.
Mr. Stone serves on the UCLA Government Affairs Alumni Advocacy
Committee - the legislative arm of the UCLA Alumni Association.
Mr. Stone previously served on California Governor Gray Davis' Technology
Advisory Group, the El Segundo Education Foundation Board of Directors,
and as Co-Chair of the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Project's Legislative
Subcommittee. Mr. Stone received his Bachelor of Arts in Political
Science from UCLA, and his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School.
Mr. Stone resides in West Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
