The
LA City Council's Public Safety Committee Chairperson is Councilman
Jack Weiss. Four other Councilmembers serve on the Committee.
This Committee of the Los Angeles City Council is responsible for
hearing issues and making policy decisions regarding the Los Angeles
Police Department (LAPD), the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD),
the Department of Animal Regulation, and the Department of Building
and Safety.
The public may attend its meetings, which are usually held at 10:00
am on Monday mornings in Room 1010 at LA City Hall.
As is true in all government meetings, there is always a time alloted
on the agendas for Public Comment. |
