by the State of California as a 501c(3) corporation.

Support us as we empower Angelenos to participate in making
their neighborhood streets safer ...

Our sole purpose is to seek paths to promote, encourage and share
community policing and community government causes and ideas ...
and, of course, to continue the web publishing of this LACP.org
site.
We believe strongly in this advocacy, and the enthusiastic and supportive
community response to our active participation over the last few
months has shown us there's great interest and a need in Los Angeles
for it.
We'll continue to attend a variety of meetings and events on your
behalf, so as to stay well informed ourselves, especially to what
is going on in the City as it relates to community safety in the
LA area.
Police Commission meetings will remain at the top of this list.
Townhall events, C-PAB and City Council meetings, special events
and press conferences related to community based policing and community
government will be included.
We'll continue to ask the residents to keep us informed as well
with anything they believe may be pertinent to the discussion of
how to encourage others to participate and engage in improving LA.
Our work is a service to the City of Los Angeles. We encourage you
to help us in maintaining this, your forum for the dissemination
of information, sharing of ideas, and suggesting of ways the community
can become engaged in making our streets safer, to improve the quality
of life.
